Dispersed Processes and Limited Access for Teams
One of the Municipality of Vicente López’s main challenges was connecting employees who work in very different environments and locations. While some perform their duties from offices, others spend most of the day out in the field, including inspectors and public services teams.
Before implementing Humand, many processes and documents were available through a web platform that was not always accessible to employees who did not work in front of a computer.
In addition, different channels were being used, including email and other platforms. The municipality needed a tool that could bring management processes and communications closer to every employee, regardless of where they worked.
From a Web Platform to a Mobile Experience
Implementing Humand made it possible to bring everyday processes directly to each employee’s phone. Tasks that previously depended on access to a computer could now be completed through the app, making information available anytime, anywhere.
The process was organized through weekly training sessions focused on each module. This helped the internal team learn how to manage the platform and make changes more independently, without constantly relying on an external provider.
Today, Humand supports different stages of the municipal employee experience. Some of the most widely used modules include:
- Documents: Centralizes payslips, training certificates, notifications, and documents requiring a signature. Everything is available from employees’ mobile phones.
- Internal Communications: The feed makes it possible to share updates simultaneously with teams across the district and ensure that information reaches everyone at the same time.
- Service Management: The municipality is migrating forms and inquiries to streamline HR support, track each request, and access data that was not previously available.
- Chats: The organization has begun moving some of its communications from external channels to Humand, avoiding issues with bulk messaging and centralizing conversations in a single platform.
94% Active Users and a More Connected Community
The clearest result is the adoption rate: 94% of municipal employees are active on Humand. But the impact goes beyond digitizing processes and documents.
The platform has also become a space where employees can stay informed about what is happening across the organization. Initiatives such as an internal football tournament and Q&A content help showcase employees from different areas and recognize their everyday work.
In an organization of more than 6,500 people, many of whom work in different locations, the opportunity to be seen and learn more about other teams helps build a shared identity.
“Helping people feel that they are part of the organization they work for is key, and I believe Humand has a major impact on that.”
