When processes can no longer keep pace with growth
Puppis’ expansion brought new stores, more employees, and an increasingly complex operation. However, many People processes still relied on Excel spreadsheets, Google Forms, and basic tools that were difficult to sustain at scale.
One of the company’s main challenges was employee training. Puppis did not have a learning platform capable of organizing content, expanding its reach, and supporting the development of teams distributed across two countries.
A similar situation occurred with internal surveys. Forms made it possible to collect responses, but they did not provide the depth or visibility needed to understand the organizational climate and make decisions based on concrete data.
Puppis needed to build a digital infrastructure that could support its growth and strengthen its connection with every employee.
Building a new way to support employees
By implementing Humand, Puppis was able to progressively address different needs within the People area, from day-to-day administration to training, communication, and development.
Rather than simply transferring existing processes to a digital tool, the team began designing new ways of working tailored to the needs of a larger organization.
Today, Puppis uses Humand throughout different stages of the employee journey.
People Administration helps digitize and organize everyday processes, making them easier for employees to access and for the People team to manage and track.
Through Courses and Learning, all 850 employees can access training regardless of their location. This has made it possible to extend content developed in Argentina to teams in Colombia and maintain a shared learning experience across both countries.
Internal Communication enables Puppis to share company news, relevant information, and organizational content directly with its entire workforce. As a result, stores and distributed teams can stay informed without relying on messages being passed through multiple intermediaries.
People Experience tools, meanwhile, allow Puppis to manage engagement surveys, performance reviews, and goals. In this way, the company can listen to its employees, support their development, and turn their feedback into useful information for decision-making.
An active organization that can now listen to its people
The clearest indicator is adoption: 100% of Puppis employees are active on Humand. For an operation distributed across two countries and made up of very different employee profiles, reaching the entire workforce represents a significant transformation.
The impact can also be seen in the quality of the information available. Surveys that were previously conducted through isolated forms now generate an up-to-date dashboard featuring NPS and other organizational climate indicators. This allows Puppis to identify trends, better understand employee needs, and make decisions based on concrete results.
Training is no longer limited by physical location either. Today, an employee working in Colombia can access content created in Argentina and participate in a development experience shared across the entire organization.
“We achieved 100% employee activation. The response rate is also nearly total. We are making the most of Humand.”
With Humand, Puppis ensured that the expansion of its operations was accompanied by an evolution in the way it trains, listens to, and supports its teams. Today, its 850 employees share a more connected and accessible experience, even when working across different countries. Technology did not replace that connection—it helped extend it.
