Effective planning requires a clear view of schedules and reliable information when tracking attendance. That’s why new features have been added to Humand’s Time Tracking and Shift Management modules to support each of these needs.
Plan your shifts for the long term
When work schedules repeat, you can define a sequence once and have it assigned automatically based on the configured frequency.
With these updates, you can:
- Create shift and day-off templates and assign them to one or more employees at once.
- Automatically repeat a shift on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Automatically reassign shift templates when each cycle ends.
New shift views
Employees can now get a complete view of their week and quickly find their schedules from their phones, helping them better organize their day and always have their schedule at hand.
- Weekly view: See all shifts for the week in a single list.
- Agenda view: Organize shifts by day to quickly find each day’s schedule.
More information to verify attendance
Prevent duplicate clock-ins
Kiosk terminals now help keep attendance records more accurate by preventing accidental duplicate clock-ins. If an employee needs to clock in again, they can confirm it manually without affecting the clock-in process for everyone else.
More context about location
When the GPS signal isn’t enough to accurately determine where a clock-in took place, the system still records it and displays a “Low location accuracy” warning.
What does this mean?
- For employees: They can confirm their clock-in and continue as usual, even when their location couldn’t be determined precisely.
- For managers or admins: They can view the estimated area where the clock-in took place on the map and have more context to review whether it matches the employee’s location.
This means that an inaccurate location doesn’t prevent employees from recording their attendance while providing the information needed to review the clock-in later.
How can these new features help?
- Do you have recurring shifts? Define the sequence and schedule its recurrence to avoid manual assignments.
- Do your employees need to check their schedules? They can now view all their shifts for the week in a single view.
- Want to prevent clock-in errors? Kiosk helps prevent duplicate records and keep attendance information more accurate.
- Does a clock-in have an inaccurate location? The system provides additional information to make it easier to review.
With these updates, managing schedules and attendance is more flexible and better adapted to each team’s needs, from planning shifts to tracking daily attendance.
