Performance reviews are most effective when everyone evaluates employees using consistent criteria and goal tracking accurately reflects each employee’s progress.

With these updates, the Performance & Goals modules introduce new ways to standardize evaluations, manage goal progress, and provide greater visibility throughout every stage of the performance cycle.

More consistent performance reviews

One of the biggest challenges in performance management is ensuring evaluations are consistent across managers, teams, and departments. To support this process, Humand’s Performance module now includes a calibration stage within review cycles.

With this update, you can:

  • Add a calibration stage before finalizing review results.
  • Assign reviewers responsible for calibrating evaluations for different employee groups.
  • Track the progress of calibration sessions throughout the review cycle.

This helps create more consistent, fair, and reliable performance evaluations across your organization.

Greater control over goal tracking

The Goals module now includes a new setting that lets organizations decide who can update goal progress during each cycle, providing greater flexibility to match different performance management methodologies.

What’s new?

  • Only managers can update goal progress, if configured.
  • Employees continue to have access to their goals and their progress history.
  • Goal tracking can be tailored to your organization’s preferred performance management approach.

This allows every organization to build a goal management process that aligns with the way they work.

More visibility for managers

Set a maximum goal progress limit

You can now define a maximum completion percentage that applies to every goal within a cycle.

With this configuration, you can:

  • Set a maximum progress limit for all goals in the cycle.
  • Ensure goal updates stay within the configured threshold.
  • Adapt goal tracking to your organization’s performance methodology.

Assign goal weights in bulk

When a goal cycle includes a large number of employees, assigning goal weights individually can become repetitive.

You can now:

  • Assign goal weights directly during bulk imports.
  • Configure multiple employees in a single process, reducing manual work.
  • Maintain consistent goal weighting from the moment goals are created.

Access more detailed evaluation reports

Analyzing performance results requires meaningful insights into employee evaluations.

Evaluation reports now include:

  • A detailed breakdown of evaluated competencies for each employee.
  • More comprehensive information for performance analysis.
  • Additional context to support performance conversations and development planning.
