The Challenge: Unify, Automate, and Strengthen the Internal Culture
Before partnering with Humand, Essen faced a scenario common to many organizations: scattered and poorly integrated tools for managing Human Resources processes. This limited operational efficiency, hindered internal communication, and fragmented the employee experience. With the goal of strengthening its organizational culture and optimizing people management, Essen decided to migrate from its previous platform (Workplace) to a more robust and comprehensive solution: Humand.

What Was Essen Aiming for with This Transformation?
The goal was to efficiently replace their previous tool with a more powerful solution aligned with their needs. They also aimed to strengthen internal culture by fostering collaboration and a sense of belonging; improve internal communication through accessible and dynamic channels; automate and centralize key HR processes to save time and gain strategic focus; and achieve a fast, strategic implementation with high adoption.
The implementation process was agile and well-organized: the migration was requested in June, Humand officially launched in July, and by August, 80% of users were active.

The Modules That Transformed the Internal Experience
The implementation of Humand included key modules that support Essen’s culture and people management: customized forms for internal requests and processes, objectives aligned with strategic goals, institutional content libraries, a dynamic and updated organizational chart, internal chats for smooth team communication, fully automated vacation and leave management, and a social wall that connects, recognizes, and celebrates team achievements.

Same community, but a much better platform."”
