Connecting a distributed workforce
Moto Mecánica Argentina is a company that develops equipment and provides services for the oil and gas industry. Its operations bring together a wide range of profiles, from administrative employees to operational teams working in the field across different parts of the country.
This geographic dispersion represented a challenge for internal communications. Email and external communication groups were no longer enough: information did not always arrive on time, some employees were left out of the channels, and not everyone had permanent access to a computer.
In 2023, Moto Mecánica began working with Humand to bring all its teams together in the same space and modernize the way information was shared.
From a communication tool to an integrated hub
The implementation began with a clear objective: to centralize internal communications. Over time, the company incorporated new processes, including personal document management, forms, vacation requests, and leave management. These features helped drive platform adoption and activation while also strengthening the reach of internal communications.
Today, Moto Mecánica sees Humand as its hub for communications, information, and HR processes, accessible to every employee directly from their phone.
This evolution also responds to a need for scalability. The company is part of a group made up of several businesses, so centralizing information and standardizing processes is essential to providing a consistent experience for all employees.
The right information for each audience
One of the main challenges was that Moto Mecánica’s internal communications had to address very different needs. While some employees need administrative information, others require safety alerts, instructions for accessing oil fields, payroll updates, or specific communications related to their work in the field.
Through the Wall and News Feed, the Internal Communications team can segment each piece of content and direct it to the relevant audience. This ensures that information reaches 100% of the target audience on time, while achieving weekly engagement of more than 80%.
Humand evolved from an internal communication tool into the space where employees manage different aspects of their day-to-day experience:
- Internal communications: the Wall and News features make it possible to segment content and share specific information with each audience, from administrative teams to employees working in the field.
- Documents: employees can access personal documents and payslips directly from the platform.
- Vacation and leave: requests are submitted from a mobile phone and automatically sent to the supervisor, who can review and approve them directly from the app.
- Forms: different internal processes and requests are centralized in the same space, making access and follow-up easier.
- Notifications: every new communication, document, or pending action can be delivered through a push notification, which is especially important for employees who do not work in front of a computer.
A platform that became part of the culture
The most significant change was that Humand stopped being perceived as just another tool. Today, when employees need to find information, access their payslip, or request vacation time, they know they can do it through the platform.
For Moto Mecánica, centralizing communications and processes not only improved reach and streamlined tasks, but also helped create a simpler, more accessible, and recognizable experience for every team.
“Humand has already become part of our culture. What do you need? Where can you find it? In Humand.”
