A need for clarity
Operating in a highly regulated and fast-paced industry, Atlantic Airways needed a platform that would allow them to streamline communication, organize company knowledge, and increase transparency across departments. More importantly, they needed a solution that would be easy to implement and feel natural to use — for everyone from HR to frontline staff.
Friendly, intuitive, and built for adoption
After evaluating other tools, the team chose Humand for its simplicity and user-friendly experience. The implementation process was described as structured, effective, and caring, and the platform was embraced quickly across the organization. In the words of Heidi Gullaksen, HR & HSE Manager at the airline, Humand “was easy to adopt and fully accepted.”
Growing into the platform, at their own pace
The rollout began in June 2025. From the start, Atlantic Airways adopted modules like Feed, Groups, Chat, Org Chart, Knowledge Libraries, Events, and the Magazine. What stood out most was the ease of getting started and the ability to explore new use cases progressively.
“We are still discovering features as we go, and when we find something we need — it's there.”

Connection that shows up in the numbers
The most impressive thing about Atlantic Airways’ engagement is its consistency. Monthly active users have stayed above 93% since launch — currently at 97% — with weekly active users at 94%. Communication through groups across departments and locations is at the heart of this engagement, alongside strong profile view activity and high adoption of Birthdays & Anniversaries as a way for teams to celebrate each other.
Modules like People Experience and Surveys are helping the HR team track employee well-being and gather feedback, while Knowledge Libraries and the Org Chart keep information and people easy to find. By consolidating data and communications in one place, the team can now support initiatives like job satisfaction surveys and internal announcements more easily and effectively.
“We appreciate all the features and opportunities available — and the fact that Humand makes it easy to act on what matters.”
