The challenge of managing HR with separate tools

At Helixx BPO, flexibility is part of the way they work. The team operates under a hybrid model of four remote workdays and one day in the office, a dynamic that requires Human Resources to stay close to employees no matter where they are working.

Before Humand, much of that management was spread across different tools.

The previous platform was mainly used to manage vacations, while other processes required separate solutions. They relied on external apps to run surveys, day-to-day communication depended on multiple channels, and payslips had to be sent individually by email.

In addition, Helixx BPO did not have a formal, centralized record of clock-ins and clock-outs. In a mostly remote work context, having visibility into the workday became an increasingly important need.

The Human Resources team needed to bring the entire employee experience together in one place.

Centralizing to work with more agility

When Helixx BPO discovered Humand, one of the main differentiators was precisely the ability to bring together features that until then had been spread across different applications.

The team was also looking for a tool that would be easy to incorporate into the daily routine. The social-media-like experience allowed employees to quickly understand how to navigate Humand, check information, and stay up to date with company news.

The implementation turned out to be simpler than expected: the team anticipated a complex process, but it met the planned timeline and employee questions during adoption were few and specific.

From there, Humand became a new meeting point between Human Resources and the rest of the organization. The main use cases include:

  • Time tracking: employees clock in and out from the mobile app, with geolocation.
  • Vacations and leave: they can manage requests within the platform and access up-to-date information, such as their available day balances.
  • Payslips: employees receive their documents directly in Humand and can sign them digitally from the app, eliminating much of the manual work.
  • Surveys: polls and internal surveys that used to require external apps are now handled within the platform.
  • Internal communication: the Feed and Chat make it possible to share news and hold conversations within a corporate channel, reducing the need to use personal tools or accounts.
  • Employee information: each person can check their own data from their profile, which reduces recurring questions to HR.

Payroll without repetitive tasks

One of the most tangible changes came in a recurring process: payslip distribution. Before Humand, Helixx BPO had to send them individually to each employee.

The process involved preparing the documents, reviewing the information, and sending one email per person. A task that took the team about an hour every time payslips were distributed.

With Humand, that same process was reduced to two minutes.

Each employee accesses their payslip directly and can sign it digitally from their phone, allowing Human Resources to centralize both the distribution and the validation of documents in one place.

Getting ready for a new labor reality in Mexico

Managing working time is taking on new relevance for Mexican companies.

In May 2026, a reform was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) that establishes the gradual reduction of the maximum workweek from 48 to 40 hours by 2030 and introduces the obligation to keep an electronic record of working hours.

For Helixx BPO, this context reinforced a need that already existed within its operations.

Today, through the Time Tracking module, each employee can record the start and end of their workday directly from their phone. Geolocation also gives the Human Resources team greater visibility to manage attendance in a mostly remote work model.

In this way, Helixx BPO began organizing and digitizing its work-hour records before the new requirements are fully implemented, adopting a tool that allows it to centralize information and gain greater traceability over time worked.

A platform that grows with the team

With Humand, Helixx BPO found a platform capable of supporting different moments of the employee experience. But the journey is just beginning. The team continues to explore new features and look for new ways to make the most of the platform to simplify its operations.

“Humand has helped us get things done with much more agility and have more direct communication with our employees.”
