Club Atlético Talleres: How to Digitalize the Management of a Diverse and Distributed Workforce

With teams distributed across more than ten locations, Club Atlético Talleres needed a simpler way to communicate with everyone and centralize processes in one place. With Humand, the club found a shared space to connect its teams, streamline Human Resources management, and move toward a more digital experience.

The challenge of reaching a highly diverse workforce

Managing people at a football club means working with very different profiles, routines, and needs.

At Talleres, maintenance and security teams work alongside players, doctors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, accountants, and professionals from many different areas. Adding to this diversity is the challenge of having employees distributed across more than ten physical locations.

For Human Resources, reaching everyone at the same time with consistent information was becoming increasingly complex. Communication relied on informal channels, inquiries were sent to a central number, and the team had to respond manually and, when necessary, redirect each request to the right person.

In addition to taking up valuable time, this dynamic made it harder to centralize information and create a consistent employee experience across the organization.

One place to communicate and manage

Talleres was looking for a solution that would not only simplify administration for Human Resources, but also provide a direct channel to employees.

Among the alternatives they evaluated, Humand was the one that best addressed both needs: centralizing internal processes while creating a simpler, more accessible, and more digital experience for employees. Since its implementation, the platform has become a new meeting point for teams across the club.

Some of the modules that are now part of their day-to-day operations include:

  • Internal Communications: the Feed makes it possible to share news and updates with employees across different locations and reach everyone at the same time.
  • Chat: replaced part of the conversations that previously took place through informal channels, keeping internal communication within a single space.
  • Onboarding: centralizes information and processes to support new employees throughout their onboarding journey.
  • Time Off: teams can manage requests directly through the platform, simplifying processes that previously required more manual intervention.
  • Service Management: centralizes administrative requests and inquiries so that each one reaches the right team directly.
  • Knowledge Library: policies, procedures, and frequently requested information are available in one place, reducing repetitive questions through WhatsApp.

One of the most visible changes has been in the Service Portal. Today, employees can use it to request salary advances, submit requests to hire new team members, manage training requests, or resolve administrative matters related to documentation, health insurance, or payslips.

Requests are organized from the start and routed directly to the person who can resolve them.

Greater efficiency for Human Resources

Before Humand, an inquiry required someone from the Human Resources team to receive it, identify who was responsible, and then redirect it. Today, each request follows a defined workflow within the platform.

This has helped reduce manual tasks and free up the team’s time to focus on other priorities.

Implementing Humand has also enabled Talleres to move toward a different way of engaging with its employees. By bringing communication, information, and internal processes together in a single platform, people with very different roles and ways of working can access a consistent experience.

And the process continues to evolve. With the support of the Humand team and new opportunities to expand the use of the platform, Talleres continues to incorporate tools that help simplify processes and improve the day-to-day experience of its teams.

“We chose Humand because we felt it was the most comprehensive option and, above all, because it gave us a direct way to reach our employees. It allows us to engage with them differently, innovate, and move toward a more digital experience.”
