Time tracking: Approve requests in bulk and resolve attendance issues faster

Index

Reviewing attendance issues, approving requests, and managing daily records now takes fewer steps. The latest Time Tracking updates help you spend less time on administrative work and respond more quickly to your team’s needs.

Approve multiple requests at once

Approving overtime for an entire team at the end of the week or reviewing requests from a specific department no longer requires processing each one individually. You can now select multiple requests and approve or reject them in a single action.

With this update, you can:

  • Select multiple pending requests from the Approvals tab.
  • Filter by date range, hour type, area, or department to view only the requests you need to manage.
  • Approve or reject all selected requests in one step.

Automatically close open time records

Until now, if an employee forgot to clock out, their time record could remain open, creating inconsistencies in worked hours and often requiring manual corrections from HR.

Humand’s Time Tracking module now includes new automatic closing rules that let you define how the system should handle missing clock-outs.

You can choose from different options:

  • Close the time record based on the employee’s scheduled shift.
  • Calculate the clock-out time based on the hours the employee was scheduled to work that day.
  • Generate an alert without automatically closing the record, so it can be reviewed manually.

This allows every organization to configure attendance policies that fit its operations, reduce inconsistencies in time records, and minimize the need for manual adjustments.

Stay informed with the right notifications

Having the right information at the right time helps resolve attendance issues faster and keeps processes moving. With two new notification types, leaders and administrators can receive alerts whenever an event requires their attention.

What events can trigger a notification?

  • Attendance issues, including late arrivals, absences, out-of-location clock-ins, missed clock-ins, and pending check-ins.
  • Approval requests, including overtime requests that require approval or requests with no assigned approver.

With real-time visibility into daily operations, leaders and administrators can manage their teams more efficiently.

Monitor your workforce from the mobile app

For organizations with multiple locations or distributed teams, having real-time visibility from anywhere makes day-to-day supervision easier.

The Humand mobile app now includes new filters to help you quickly find the information you need:

  • Status: employees who are currently working, on leave, or have not yet clocked in.
  • Attendance issues: late arrivals, absences, and out-of-location clock-ins.
  • Clock-in location: monitor attendance by worksite or physical location.

These new filters make attendance supervision faster and more efficient by providing quick access to the most relevant information directly from the mobile app.

More control over daily operations

These improvements help HR teams and managers streamline everyday attendance management with tools that increase visibility, simplify processes, and reduce time spent on administrative tasks.

Explore these updates and enable the new notifications to stay informed about what’s happening across your organization every day.
