Your conversations in Groups just got a lot more connected. With our latest update, users will now receive real-time push notifications and alerts in the Notification Center whenever someone interacts with their content or tags them in a discussion.
Never Miss a Relevant Interaction Again
Group discussions are dynamic—but staying on top of them hasn’t always been easy. With this release, we’re making sure that if someone engages with a post, comments, or mentions you, you’ll be the first to know—no matter the role or the type of post.

This update makes group communication more responsive and helps keep relevant participants in the loop.
What you’ll gain:
- Faster response times to ongoing discussions.
- Increased visibility into group activity that directly involves a user.
- Stronger collaboration by making it easier to follow up on feedback or questions.
🛠️ What’s Included
This new feature ensures that users are notified in the following cases:
- ✅ When someone comments on a user’s post.
- ✅ When someone replies to a user’s comment.
- ✅ When users are mentioned in any group post or comment.
These notifications will be sent via:
- Push notification to the user’s device.
- Notification Center within the platform.
📌 If users are mentioned in a comment on their own post, they’ll only receive one notification (to avoid duplication)—just like in the Social Feed.
Other important notes:
- This feature works regardless of admin status or whether the post originally triggered a push notification.
- Notifications are not configurable—they’ll always be sent to ensure users don’t miss critical interactions.
- Clicking the alert will take users straight to the post where the activity happened.

Wondering how this will help in your daily workflow?
- “Someone replied to my question in a group—did I miss it?” → Not anymore. You’ll get an instant push so you can respond in real time.
- “I was tagged in a conversation but didn’t know.” → Now, you’ll always be alerted when someone mentions you.
- “Do admins get these too?” → Yes! Notifications are universal, not limited by role.
- “Where do I find them?” → You’ll see them both as push alerts and in your Notification Center.
